At a family gathering, my grandchildren started asking me what was life like when I was growing up. I told them about my curiosity with a bees’ nest and they were enthralled. Questions followed and requests for more “Grandpa, what else did you do?” I continued telling them about my experiences with flowers, a dog, a crow, and a bake sale gone wrong.
Their intense interest led me to want to share these events with other children.
You might say I already had the most favorable reviews any author could ask for.
